Silver birch bark extract
Silver birch bark extract contains the triterpene betulin. Betulin offers the plant protection from harsh weather conditions. The bark extract, with its innate protective properties, reinforces the proteins of the skin barrier while it stimulates the formation of water-retaining aminoacids within the stratum corneum.
Hydrogenated lecithin
It mainly consists of hydrogenated phosphatidylcholines, a class of phospholipids that imitate the external layer of the skin. They reinforce and protect the skin barrier lipids while, having the ability to retain water, they make up for the small number of water-retaining aminoacids naturally contained in our skin.
Opuntia (prickly pear) oil
One of the top oils for skin care. Opuntia oil comes from the seeds of the plant. It contains a high amount of linoleic acid and a lesser amount of oleic acid. This acid ratio is ideal to achieve good skin barrier protection, a strong repair capacity and at the same time the possibility of irritation is drastically reduced.
Panthenol
Panthenol, a.k.a. provitamin B5. An ideal ingredient for any type of skin. Sensitive skins in particular immediately benefit from it. It is the ingredient that makes the color of the end-product slightly darker. A blood red resin which is derived from the Croton Lechleri tree, native to South America. It contains unsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids, natural dyes and lignans.
It has anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties; it protects from free radicals and rejuvenates the skin. It is an effective anti-inflammatory with wound -healing properties, it protects the skin from pollution and it raises the hydration level of the epidermis.
Atecoron plus
It is a mixture that consists of collagen that has been processed (atelocollagen) and different molecular weight hyaluronic acids. Atelocollagen is a polypeptide with 3 peptide chains rich in the aminoacids proline and hydroxyproline. Hyaluronic acid, one of the main constituents of the skin, is a polysaccharide formed by the combination of glucuronic acid and acetyl-glucosamine. It is located in the connective tissue and the extracellular matrix and it has the ability to retain water. The lower the molecular weight the deeper it penetrates the skin, thus hydrating it. The combination of hyaluronic acids with different molecular weights offers hydration in different layers of the epidermis and at the same time, because of the action of atelocollagen, the epidermis is rejuvenated.
Grapeseed oil
It is produced from the cold pressing of grape seeds. It contains high amounts of linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2) and oleic acid, and is also rich in vitamin E. It is absorbed readily, thus replenishing the lipid layers of the epidermis and increasing its elasticity.
Shea butter
It comes from the fruit of the Shea tree, a wild, long-lived tree from Africa, where it is considered sacred. The tree can reach up to 15 meters in height, live for 3 centuries and its fruit is edible. Shea butter contains high amounts of unsaturated fatty acids like oleic acid (ω-9), linoleic acid (ω-6), stearic and palmitic acid, phytosterols, catechins, lupeol and vitamins A, D, E and F. A big advantage is that it is compatible with all types of skin. It has a strong hydrating effect and it helps the skin remain elastic. It drastically reduces wrinkles and fine lines on the face. It protects the skin from dryness and helps reduce redness.

It helps reduce wrinkles, fine lines around the eyes and discolorations. In addition, it invigorates the epidermis and it gives it a healthy look.
Beeswax
It gives the cream a wonderful texture, and at the same time it creates a protective film on the surface of the epidermis, hydrating it and it protecting it from irritation. It helps with cell rejuvenation and leaves the skin soft and elastic.
Phytocollagen
Collagen is a polymeric substance and one of the building blocks of the skin. Phytocollagen is a natural, vegan biopolymer. It is derived from organic Accacia plants and has a COSMOS certification, which means that strict environmentally-friendly processes are being employed for its production. It has healing properties, antiaging properties exactly like conventional collagen and, in addition, it creates a protective film on the skin reinforcing the skin barrier.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide, a.k.a. vitamin B3, the active ingredient that suits everyone! Studies have shown it has soothing effects, whitening action, antiaging properties and that it reinforces the skin barrier. It also acts as a sebaceous regulator for oily skin and does not cause irritation.
Grapeseed oil
It is produced from the cold pressing of grape seeds. It contains high amounts of linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2) and oleic acid, and it is also rich in vitamin E. It is an oil that is absorbed readily, something that is a big advantage for combination skin. This way it replenishes the lipid layers of the epidermis and it increases its elasticity.

Cocoa seeds contain fatty acids like oleic acid, stearic acid and palmitic acid and are rich in antioxidants and vitamins E and K. Cocoa butter is an exceptional hydrating agent. It is softening and it is easily absorbed from the skin, properties that make it ideal for application on dehydrated and weary skins. In addition, it softens and increases elasticity for all skin types, especially for sensitive skins where it acts as a palliative. Two facts of utmost importance for lip care are that it stimulates collagen production and that it increases resilience and protects from weather conditions.
Olive oil
It comes from the cold pressing of mature olives. An exceptionally nutritious oil that contains three types of powerful antioxidants as well as fatty acids beneficial for the skin that give it softening and protective properties. For our lips it also acts as an occlusive, creating a protective film which locks in humidity, preventing it from escaping.

Phytocodine
Its an 100% natural extract derived from the fruit of a wild cedar tree native to Siberia. It contains peptide chains that act like matrikines, that is by stimulating specific metabolic pathways that lead to collagen and elastin repair and production. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS APPROVED certified. These are two powerful certificates that practically ensure that specific strict environmental requirements are fulfilled during production (sustainability) and that this product fulfills the requirements of the “natural” category. Ceramides / triglycerides / phospholipids
It is lipid combination of a specific ratio that imitates the outer layer of the epidermis (stratus corneum). This is how the natural “barrier” of the skin is repaired and restructured to better face environmental challenges. This mixture is obtained by processing sunflowers. It is ECOCERT and COSMOS APPROVED certified. These are two important certificates that practically ensure that specific strict environmental requirements are fulfilled during production (sustainability) and that this product fulfills the requirements of the “natural” category.
